How to set it up
The host opens the game on a laptop and opens the TV view, then shares that window on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Everyone else keeps the call open on one device and plays from their phone with the room link, which the host can paste into the call chat.
Because the question, the anonymous answers and the scoreboard all appear on the shared screen, nobody has to read from a second tab, and nobody has to talk over each other. Players answer in private, so the call stays free for laughing.
Tip: share a single window rather than the whole desktop, and turn the countdown up a little if people are on slow connections. Mixed bag suits a group that does not know each other well.
